To thoroughly grasp the tasks in the coming time, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung requested that right after Tet, all levels, sectors and localities must immediately focus on work, not to stagnate, not to let the long Tet holiday affect work, especially work related to people and businesses.
On the afternoon of February 3, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee met to listen to information from the public and the press; and the results of the organization of the Lunar New Year 2025 in the province. Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of a number of departments and branches.

Assessment shows that during Tet holidays, the weather in the province is favorable, creating conditions for people to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet.
Goods preparation for Tet are thorough, ensuring quality and stable prices, meeting the people's need for essential goods. Food hygiene and safety are ensured, no food poisoning has occurred in the province.
All levels and sectors have paid attention to and taken care of people's spiritual and material lives, ensuring that people can enjoy Spring and Tet; well implemented policies for meritorious people, social protection, and ensured social security; cared for policy beneficiaries, people in difficult circumstances, and workers to ensure the right subjects and regimes according to regulations.
In the province, 270,171 people with meritorious services to the revolution, social protection, the elderly, children in difficult circumstances, poor households... received gifts at all levels with a total implementation cost of more than 83.8 billion VND. Mobilized from the Tet for the poor program "Nghia tinh dong Lam" with a total value of money and converted goods of more than 150 billion VND.
All levels and sectors have synchronously deployed many measures to ensure security and order in the area during the Lunar New Year 2025; no serious or particularly serious incidents occurred; people's awareness of complying with regulations was strictly implemented.
Compared to the 2024 Lunar New Year, social order crimes decreased by 2 cases; drug crimes decreased by 4 cases; economic and environmental crimes decreased by 55 cases; traffic accidents decreased by 5 cases, 3 fewer deaths, and 2 fewer injuries. The whole province detected and handled 43 cases and 44 subjects violating illegal firecrackers, compared to the same period of the 2024 Lunar New Year's Eve, a decrease of 26 cases.
Agreeing with the comments and assessments of the situation in the province during the Lunar New Year, the Standing Committee members of the Provincial Party Committee discussed and clarified the situation during the Tet holiday.
Emphasizing the tasks in the coming time, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Nghia Hieu suggested not to let the Spring and Tet holiday mentality last long, to tighten discipline and administrative order, to strengthen the settlement of administrative procedures for people and businesses, and to boost production and business right from the beginning of the year.
Quickly reorganize the political system to ensure stable operations. Focus on propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to create consensus and stability in the area; fight and refute the wrong views of hostile and reactionary forces.

Concluding the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung assessed the results of organizing the Lunar New Year 2025 in the province and said that the Tet situation was happy, healthy, peaceful, economical, people enjoyed Spring and celebrated Tet in a good, positive, and exciting atmosphere.
However, the Provincial Party Secretary also assessed that there are still traffic violations by teenagers; illegal firecrackers still occur; cultural and artistic activities do not have many highlights and are not rich.

Right from the beginning of the year, it is necessary to focus on drastically implementing solutions and measures to promote economic development, realize socio-economic development goals, and ensure the province's target of growth of not less than 10% in accordance with the Central Government's directive of "acceleration and breakthrough".
To achieve the above goal, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to develop plans, scenarios, and growth target options for each field; pay special attention to implementing the direction of the Central and the General Secretary to remove institutional bottlenecks to promote business production activities, thereby creating growth on the basis of specific solutions in the context of many difficulties and having to carry out many important tasks.
In particular, attention should be paid to solving major issues such as disbursement of public investment capital, implementation of 3 National Target Programs, completion of key projects and works, continuing to promote investment attraction and supporting investors to implement investment projects that have been granted investment certificates and carry out procedures.
The head of the Provincial Party Committee also requested to carry out the work of arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus in accordance with the requirements and time schedule approved by the Provincial Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, ensuring practical effectiveness.
Agencies, organizations, and units after merger, reorganization, and establishment must operate immediately and ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Along with this task is to grasp and promptly resolve issues related to the ideology of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers.
At the same time, focus on preparing for Party congresses at all levels, focusing on two important contents: building congress documents and personnel plans to ensure compliance with regulations, especially in the context of implementing organizational restructuring.
Regarding these two tasks, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Department of Information and Communications to pay attention to grasping public opinion, bad, toxic and false information on social networks to promptly refute and respond.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and press agencies pay attention to disseminating information and orienting information so that cadres, party members, people and businesses support and unanimously implement the province's policy of accelerating, breaking through and achieving growth targets; and strictly implement and comply with new regulations of the State.
Regarding post-Tet issues, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung requested that sectors grasp the labor and employment situation, have solutions to ensure labor resources for businesses and investors in the area; ensure learning conditions for students; ensure the organization of joyful, healthy and positive festival activities; especially remind cadres, party members and civil servants not to attend festivals on working days and not to use public transport to attend festivals.
On the other hand, ensuring national defense - security, social order and safety, from political security, border security, religious security, rural security, traffic order and safety, promptly and proactively grasp and handle issues in the area to maintain stability; organize military transfer and reception according to regulations, ensuring sufficient quantity and quality.
