Dien Chau: 2 special cases busted in 1 day, large amount of drugs seized
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 12, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police and Dien Chau District People's Committee awarded 20 million VND to the 118H Task Force for their achievements in destroying 2 drug cases.
These are the two largest drug trafficking cases ever discovered and arrested in Dien Chau district.

Previously, during the reconnaissance process, Dien Chau District Police discovered a drug trafficking and transportation ring from Quynh Luu District to Dien Chau District in large quantities. Dien Chau District Police established Project 118H to fight and destroy it.
At around 12:00 on January 11, in Dien Hong commune, the Special Task Force arrested Nguyen Viet Duong (born in 1977, residing in Hamlet 7, Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu district).
Searching Duong's home, police seized 4 heroin cakes, 6,400 synthetic drug pills, 500 grams of crystal meth and several weapons.

Then, at around 7:00 p.m. the same day, at the Dien Yen commune overpass, the Task Force continued to arrest Luong Anh Phuong (born in 1981, residing in Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district) who was transporting drugs from Que Phong to Dien Chau for consumption.
The task force seized 1 cake of heroin; 2.5 kg of crystal meth and 3 million VND in cash.
Currently, the Dien Chau District Police are continuing to investigate and expand the two cases.
