(Baonghean.vn) - As of January 12, in Dien Chau district, 20/39 communes and towns (accounting for over 50%) had completely cleared violations of traffic safety corridors. There are still 9 communes that have not been really determined.

Immediately after the launching ceremony of the Traffic Safety Year 2016 on December 4, all communes and towns carried out propaganda on the loudspeaker system, distributed leaflets, and went to households to mobilize and sign commitments.

Dien Ky commune launched a campaign to clear the traffic safety corridor on Highway 538.

20 communes and towns mobilized more than 800 officials and members of departments, branches and organizations to clear violations, remove 1,400 billboards and canopies, clear 400 trees, and restore open roads and sidewalks.

It is expected that by the end of January 20, Dien Chau will complete the first phase of traffic corridor clearance.
