Smartphones cause hyperactivity disorder in adolescents
Research by the American Medical Association shows that teenagers who abuse smartphones are more likely to develop attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
According toWebMD, a research team of the American Medical Association surveyed parents of young children. To the question: "Do digital mobile devices distract, affect the spirit and actions of children?", they all received the answer "Yes".

According to Dr. Jenny Radesky, a member of the research team, there are many factors that influence ADHD symptoms in adolescents, such as family, depression, smoking or drinking, not just mobile devices. However, overuse of mobile phones increases the risk of these symptoms.
In fact, parents have a great influence on children's behavior. Many teenagers do not use or abuse mobile phones because of the rules set by their parents from a young age. Many families actively encourage their children to be active outdoors rather than sitting indoors using their phones.
Professor Leventhal, Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, agrees with the study. He believes that overuse of mobile devices contributes to the increase in ADHD rates. The professor conducted studies on the frequency of social media use, every 6 months for 2 years with 2,600 high school students.
As a result, fewer than 500 people did not use mobile devices regularly, no more than once or twice a day. Many people experienced symptoms such as impulsiveness, lack of concentration, and insomnia.
Abusing mobile phones will cause children to lose focus on practical activities, affecting the quality of their studies and work.If you continue to be addicted to using mobile devices, the rate of ADHD increases by 10% over time," Professor Leventhalwarning.
