On August 21, in Do Luong town, the water has receded a lot compared to a few days ago, however in block 1 there are still more than 10 houses flooded.
Immediately after the water receded, the 20-30 cm thick mud made the traffic route on the main road of the town very muddy.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Van - Chairman of Do Luong Town People's Committee said: On the morning of August 21, Do Luong Town People's Committee mobilized organizations including veterans, youth union and people, about 200 people, to focus on scraping layers of mud and dirt on the main traffic routes of about 1.7 km long in Block I, town to ensure smooth traffic.At the same time, the forces of the organizations were distributed to help people transport their belongings from the evacuation site to their homes and dredge mud and clean up households after the water receded.
According to plan, in the coming days, the town will continue to mobilize forces to dredge mud in the town's internal drainage canals and spray disinfectant.

During this flood, Do Luong flooded nearly 200 houses (of which 122 houses in the town area were flooded), damaged 350 hectares of rice, 60 hectares of mulberry, 24 hectares of aquaculture concentrated in communes along Lam river such as: Luu Son, Dang Son, Lam Son, Boi Son.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Do Luong district said: Currently, in addition to directing flooded communes to clean up mud in people's houses and residential areas, the district has a plan to soon restore production, livestock, and stabilize people's lives./.
