The development of high-tech agriculture has always been of interest to the Party Committee and authorities in Do Luong, with timely leadership and direction, and has been specified by Decision No. 1001/QD-UBND dated April 18, 2022, promulgating the Project on planning high-tech agricultural areas, associated with restructuring the agricultural sector of Do Luong district for the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030.

Along with that, the district has supported investment capital for models applying high technology to agricultural production... With those specific actions, in Do Luong district, there are many agricultural production models applying high technology very effectively.

One of the agricultural production models with high-tech application and synchronous investment, creating high efficiency in the district is Doi Choi farm in Thinh Son and Van Son communes. The owner of this farm system is Mr. Nguyen Cong Hai - a native of Do Luong living in Hung Yen province.

Mr. Hai said: “In the process of implementing a number of projects in Do Luong district, we realized that there are many places in this area that are very suitable for implementing clean agricultural production models applying high technology, especially agricultural production according to the Israeli greenhouse technology model.

When this issue was proposed to relevant levels and sectors, it was immediately supported and facilitated. Therefore, starting from February 2022, the reclaimed land was cleared and machinery, equipment, and machinery were brought in to level the ground and build greenhouses to make Doi Choi farm in hamlet 12, Thinh Son commune.

After a short period of construction, Doi Choi farm has now put into operation more than 20 hectares, with synchronous investment, with a system of greenhouses with irrigation technology, humidity and temperature monitoring applied with modern Israeli technology. From there, the intrusion of pests and insects is minimized, the stages of agricultural production are very strict, aiming to improve product quality.
At Doi Choi farm, products produced according to organic standards such as melons, black grapes, peony grapes, baby cucumbers, cucumbers, strawberries, bee tomatoes, vegetables, fruits... are well received by the market thanks to their good quality, beautiful designs, in particular, some products have been on the shelves of large supermarkets.

The initial success of Doi Choi farm is the motivation and belief for Mr. Nguyen Cong Hai to continue to boldly invest billions of dong in the second Doi Choi farm in hamlet 2, Van Son commune. The project will be implemented in March 2023 on an area of 8.4 hectares and is invested in the direction of clean agriculture.

Doi Choi farm is also a clean food supplier for 20 boarding schools in Do Luong district.
Mr. Hai added: “Doi Choi Farm with more than 10,000 peony trees can annually supply the market with more than 50 tons of grapes, over 100 tons of melons and dozens of tons of vegetables, tubers, and clean products, creating jobs for more than 40 local workers and actively participating in social security activities in the area. The product portfolio and output will grow annually.”
