The provincial National Assembly delegation supervises the arrangement of administrative units in Nghia Dan.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 21, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province worked in Nghia Dan district, supervising the topic "Implementation of Resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units for the 2019-2021 period".
Comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were Comrade Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Nghia Dan District Party Committee.

Before the merger, Nghia Dan district had 25 communes and towns; after the reorganization, there are 23 communes and towns left. Currently, the whole district has 11/23 communes that have not met the two criteria of population and area, with a surplus of 11 cadres and civil servants.
To prepare for the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period of 2022 - 2030, the district is focusing on directing agencies, departments, branches and localities to inspect, review, adjust, update and supplement the standards of natural area and population size of commune-level administrative units...
At the Conference, leaders of Nghia Dan district pointed out a number of shortcomings and proposed issues that need to be resolved in the process of rearranging commune-level administrative units in the coming period.

Concluding the working session, comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee, government, political system from district to commune and the consensus of the people.
In addition, the working group requested Nghia Dan to continue to closely follow the province's tasks and the plans of departments, branches and sectors on the implementation of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units according to the roadmap. Supplementing procedural documents in the process of converting the purpose of using facilities after the merger; paying attention to ensuring the rights of the people.
The monitoring delegation also noted the district's recommendations and proposals to synthesize and work with the province and present to the upcoming National Assembly.
