The delegation focused on inspecting and evaluating the implementation results of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (12th tenure) on "Focusing on building a contingent of cadres at all levels, especially at the strategic level, with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige, equal to the task" in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (12th tenure) on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.

At the meeting, the leaders of Con Cuong District Party Committee reported on the results of leadership, direction, dissemination and implementation of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW in conjunction with the results of implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (12th tenure) and the plans of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has developed a plan to organize the study, dissemination, deployment and implementation of the Resolution to all cadres, party members and people. In the past time, the work of rotating, mobilizing, appointing and introducing cadres has been carried out fairly and objectively by Con Cuong district.

Up to now, the district has reduced 4 units under the Education sector; completed the merger of the Party Committee Office - People's Council - People's Committee in 13/13 communes and towns; mobilized 6 regular police officers to work as commune police chiefs and deputy chiefs. The district has also implemented the model of the Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department concurrently being the Director of the District Political Training Center and the model of the Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department concurrently being the Chairman of the District Fatherland Front Committee. The district has also approved the plan to merge the Radio - Television Station with the Culture - Information - Communication Center; 24 blocks and villages do not meet the criteria to be merged in 2019.

On behalf of the inspection delegation, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc acknowledged the efforts of the Standing Committee of the Con Cuong District Party Committee in implementing the Party's policies. He also requested the District Party Committee to continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 26 and Resolution No. 18 of the Party Central Committee with practical solutions. In the process of implementing the resolution, there needs to be synchronous connection and integration with other policies and guidelines to create unity and high efficiency.
