Vinh City currently has over 7,000 enterprises (of which 5,700 are managed by the city) and more than 22,000 individual business households in operation.

In recent periods, Vinh city has always received attention from the Central and the province in terms of policies and resources for development. Projects such as the 72m road connecting Quan Bau intersection (now Quan Bau intersection) to Hung Nguyen and will connect to Cua Lo, the largest East-West corridor of the city, not only create a spacious infrastructure, convenient traffic from Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen to Vinh, Cua Lo but also create a large land fund on both sides of the road, which is a new investment opportunity in the future for businesses.

The city is a national traffic hub with a system of bus stations, railway stations, airports, and seaports for domestic and international travel. Projects: Upgrading and expanding Vinh airport; Bac Vinh bus station, Nam Vinh bus station; Vinh urban development sub-project; Upgrading and renovating inner-city traffic routes associated with urban beautification, city planning to 2030... have created momentum for faster economic development in the coming period. Mr. Tran Anh Son - Chairman of Nghe An Outstanding Business Association said that following the recent successful conference to promote investment in Nghe An, Vinh city's organization of a conference to listen to the opinions of businesses in the area is highly anticipated, because many investment projects registered in the city will be an opportunity for small businesses.

The Director of Minh Anh Garment Company said that the company is currently investing in many garment factories, so the demand for labor is very large. Therefore, he hopes the city will pay attention to the training field, especially textile and garment workers.

Unleashing tourism potential

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Director of External Relations in the Central region of Muong Thanh Group said that currently, Muong Thanh Group has invested in Vinh city 5 hotels, 1 VRC entertainment center and realized that there are quite a lot of tourists coming to Vinh, however, the city does not have places to stay and retain tourists.

"Vinh city needs to preserve and promote craft villages such as bamboo and rattan weaving, beautiful flower and vegetable villages. Vinh currently has craft villages but they are not attractive. It is necessary to exploit the tourism potential along Lam river, Vi and Giam folk songs, connect travel agencies and cultural events" - Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien also expressed his opinion that currently cities do not ban 16-seat tourist vehicles from carrying tourists into the city and Vinh should do the same so that tourists can enter the city conveniently...
