Thai Hoa town team won first prize at the 5th Excellent Mediator Competition, preliminary round of region II

Participating in the preliminary round of region II were 21 mediators selected from the district-level competition and nearly 100 supporting members from 7 units, including: Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai, Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, Quy Chau, Que Phong and the host unit, Thai Hoa town.

The teams went through 4 rounds of competition, including: Introduction, legal knowledge competition, situation handling competition and skit competition.

In the introduction round, the teams introduce themselves in the form of storytelling, poetry, songs, folk songs, etc.; In the legal knowledge round, each team draws a set of questions to answer. In the situation handling round, each team draws one of the situations given by the Organizing Committee.

For the skit competition, each team will create and perform a pre-prepared skit. The content includes legal regulations on the organization and operation of grassroots mediation; the 2013 Constitution, legal documents currently in effect related to grassroots mediation; regulations in a number of areas related to grassroots mediation, such as: civil, marriage and family, land, housing, gender equality, prevention and control of domestic violence, environmental protection, etc.

As an area with districts and towns with many unique cultural features, the teams have brought to the competition a richness and a vibrant, impressive atmosphere. Through this, it aims to contribute to raising social awareness of the position, role and significance of mediation work at the grassroots level. At the same time, it propagates and disseminates to a large number of cadres and people the provisions of the law in many areas of life.

After 1 day, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Thai Hoa town team, the second prize to Quy Hop team, and the third prize to Quynh Luu and Que Phong.
