On April 3, Que Phong District Police coordinated with relevant forces to destroydrug trafficking ringfrom Nghe An to the northern provinces for consumption, arrested 1 subject, seized 2 heroin cakes.

Previously, Que Phong District Police discovered a stranger with a Northern accent who was frequently present in the area, secretly contacted key figures in the area, and showed many signs of being involved in drug trafficking activities.
During the investigation, the District Police identified the suspect as Tran Dinh Than (born in 1963, residing in Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province).

At 7:00 a.m. on April 1, information was obtained that the subject would transport a large quantity ofdrugbought in Que Phong to bring to the northern provinces for consumption, Que Phong District Police coordinated with Tien Phong Commune Police to deploy a plan to arrest the subject. During the arrest, subject Tran Dinh Than fiercely resisted but was arrested, 2 heroin cakes and 2 mobile phones were seized at the scene.

At the police station, Tran Dinh Than admitted to his crime. Currently, the police are continuing to verify and expand the investigation.
