Urging the progress of new rural construction in Nghia Dan

Nghia Dan district has 17/22 communes recognized as meeting new rural standards. In 2022, the district has 3 communes registered to reach the finish line including: Nghia Yen, Nghia Lam, Nghia Mai (in 5 communes that have not reached the finish line: Nghia Yen, Nghia Lam, Nghia Tho, Nghia Lac, Nghia Mai). At the same time, Nghia Binh commune has successfully registered to build a model new rural commune.

To urge the implementation of the set goals, since the beginning of the year, Nghia Dan district has issued dozens of official dispatches and organized many meetings with communes to urge the implementation of solutions to build new rural areas. At the same time, it continues to mobilize departments, branches and mass organizations at the district level to mobilize nearly 132 million VND to join hands to help villages, hamlets and communes build new rural areas.

Up to now, Nghia Yen commune has achieved 17/19 criteria, and is currently striving to complete 2 criteria on transportation and cultural facilities; Nghia Lam commune has achieved 16/19 criteria, and is actively implementing criteria on transportation, schools, and cultural facilities. Nghia Mai commune is a difficult area, so up to now, it has only achieved 14/19 criteria. The Party Committee, government, and people are striving to implement the remaining criteria including: transportation, cultural facilities, average income, poverty rate, and environmental and food safety criteria.

Since the beginning of the year, Nghia Dan district has received and distributed 7,950/7,950 tons of cement to communes and has built 44,957 km of rural roads. To promote communes to complete the goal of building new rural areas according to plan, Party committees, authorities at all levels and local people continue to change the structure of crops and livestock, increasing people's income.

At the same time, mobilize the participation of the entire political system, focus on supporting production development, building economic development models, supporting vocational training, labor export and calling on children of communes working far away to support resources for poor households to develop and contribute to building new rural areas.

Members of the Steering Committee for New Rural Development at the district and commune levels focused on closely following the communes, villages, and hamlets, urging and promptly removing difficulties and obstacles to soon complete the remaining criteria and improve the achieved criteria. The district also continued to call for the joint efforts of cadres, party members, people, and business organizations in building new rural areas. On that basis, creating a combined strength to support communes in completing new rural criteria, actively contributing to the goal of building a new rural district by 2025.
