In 2015, overcoming many difficulties, the staff of Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company competed to achieve excellent results, welcoming the 3 millionth ton of cargo on December 28, 2015. The volume of goods passing through the port exceeded the set target, especially for the first time, the Thanh Thanh Dat 99 ship with a capacity of 23,000 tons docked at Cua Lo Port.

Nghe Tinh Port strives to fulfill its set targets. The volume of goods passing through the port reached 3,000,000 tons, an increase of 9% over the same period in 2015, with revenue reaching 155 billion VND. The port has also created jobs and stable income for more than 500 workers.
