(Baonghean.vn) - In response to many petitions from voters related to the resettlement of Hua Na hydropower plant, Secretary of the Party Central Committee Phan Dinh Trac suggested that Que Phong district invite the investor, district leaders, relevant departments of the province, people and related communes to conduct dialogue to resolve the issue.

Many concerns after resettlement of Hua Na hydropower plant

At the conference, voters of Thong Thu commune had many recommendations related to resolving remaining problems after the resettlement of Hua Na hydropower plant.

Voter Lu Thi Thuan proposed to speed up the progress of handing over forestry land in the field to households in 8 resettlement villages in the commune; hand over fields to some households soon; repair the domestic water system in the resettlement villages that have been damaged and degraded;...

Voter Luong Thuong Hien said that this year, the resettlement villages of Hua Nam hydropower plant will no longer receive rice support, and the risk of falling back into poverty will be high. Therefore, voter Hien proposed that the State increase the level of forest protection expenditure, separate protective forest land to allocate production land to the people; invest in building new rural areas for highland and border communes. On the other hand, regarding border protection, voters proposed upgrading and renovating border patrol forests.

Citing the recent situation of providing cows for the Hua Na hydropower project but the cows were small and some died, voter Luong Van Bich suggested that policies and mechanisms to support ethnic minorities in mountainous areas in general should consider plant and animal breeds suitable to soil and climate conditions.

Voter Thuan also proposed measures to fix and repair the domestic water sources in Muong Phu and Muong Piet villages and Loc village due to the impact of storms No. 3 and No. 4 in 2018, which washed away many pipes, causing people to lack domestic water.

Voter Sam Van Hien proposed to study the merger of hamlets and villages in mountainous areas that do not meet the criteria of large area and difficult and complicated terrain.

Voters of Thong Thu commune also proposed to continue to resolve the regime for 21 cases of people with achievements in participating in the resistance war against France and America who were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee but have not yet received one-time subsidies; consider transferring the area of ​​child protection and care from cultural officers to population officers.

In particular, regarding the recommendations on resolving the existing problems and difficulties in the resettlement of Hua Na Hydropower Plant, comrade Phan Dinh Trac assessed that the implementation progress is still too slow and clearly analyzed the responsibilities of the relevant parties, first of all belonging to the investor, Hua Na Hydropower Plant.

"Put yourself in the shoes of the people to handle the situation," Central Party Secretary Phan Dinh Trac emphasized after citing voters' opinions reflecting on the damaged pipeline that was requested to be repaired since the beginning of the year but has not been fixed yet.

Regarding the overall solution, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee suggested that Que Phong district invite the investor - Hua Na Hydropower Plant, along with district leaders, relevant provincial departments, people and related communes to conduct dialogue to resolve the issue.

"At the dialogue, any issues that can be resolved on the spot will be handled immediately; any issues that cannot be resolved will be further discussed at the district, provincial, and if necessary, central levels to propose solutions and inform the people of the results," said Party Central Committee Secretary Phan Dinh Trac.
