Breaking into a house and stealing an antique watch worth nearly 40 million VND

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 14, the Quynh Long Commune Police Department (Quynh Luu) said that the family of Mr. Bui Anh Nhan, residing in Cong Hoa village, reported that the family had just had an antique wall clock, ODO French brand, 10 cones, worth nearly 40 million VND, stolen.

Upon receiving the news, the commune police immediately went to the scene to take statements from the family. Mr. Nhan said: at around 3:00 p.m. on December 13, after leaving the house for about 30 minutes, his wife called to report that a thief had broken into the house and stolen an antique ODO French 10-pin watch.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoe, Mr. Nhan's wife, added that she was downstairs when she heard a noise in the living room. She ran upstairs and saw a young man coming out of the yard, carrying a large object, then put it on a motorbike parked in front of the house and drove away. After checking, she realized that her watch was missing, so she called her husband to come home.

Previously, Mr. Nhan's family often had some guests from Dien Chau district visiting the family and directly coming to buy the above watch, but Mr. Nhan's family did not sell.

The incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
