Nghe Tinh international students share experiences in 'hunting' for scholarships to study abroad

This is one of the contents of the Study Abroad Festival - Inspiring 2017 with the theme: "Studying abroad is not just a dream - Make Dreams Come True" which is about to take place in Vinh City, Nghe An. This is a large event with the scale of more than 1000 participants in the North Central region organized annually by the Nghe Tinh Overseas Student Association.
Coming to the festival, parents and students will be updated with the latest study abroad trends, in order to build a suitable study abroad roadmap to prepare for the scholarship application journey, as well as study abroad luggage.
"Studying abroad is not just a dream - Make Dreams Come True" will inspire, inspire, and help the dream of studying abroad for studious young people in Nghe Anh and Ha Tinh and connect with the Nghe Tinh international student community around the world.
Some speakers at the conference - Speaker Nguyen Son Tra: Head of ENV Wildlife Club in 2016/2017, received a full scholarship Siptendium Hungaricum from the Hungarian Government in Wildlife Management and Conservation. - Speaker Vu Dinh Long: Received Silver Medal at IMO International Mathematical Olympiad 2010 - an annual international Math competition for high school students and is currently studying at Paris Pedagogical University. - Speaker Karen Tang: Currently a Cultural Officer at the US Embassy in Hanoi, Master's degree from Johns Hopkins University, and recipient of a Fulbright scholarship to Japan. - Speaker Phuc Phan: Founder and main lecturer of Vietnam Scout Hall, editor of Vietnam National Television (VTV4). - Speaker Bui Anh Tho: Received the prestigious Erasmus exchange scholarship in Germany and the Lazio scholarship of the Italian government for the Master of Business Administration program, was the secretary of the Vietnamese Business Association in Italy and is currently the Founder of the project on visas to countries and European tourism. |
The workshop was attended by representatives from the US and French Embassies, experts and consultants from community projects with multi-dimensional perspectives. Therefore, students will also have access to many sources of information from scholarship funds of the US, French, Japanese Embassies, etc.
In addition, parents and students can also meet and listen to real stories and valuable experiences of studying abroad from people who have studied and worked in 15 countries around the world such as: UK, France, USA, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Australia...
The Organizing Committee will award 2 full scholarships, worth 15 million VND, to 2 students with excellent academic achievements to attend the Conference.
Nghe Tinh Overseas Students Association (HDHSNT) is a non-profit organization established in 2008, gathering people from Nghe An and Ha Tinh who have been living, studying and working in many different countries around the world such as: USA, France, UK, Russia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Korea, Italy, Netherlands, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium, Singapore... The Association has organized many activities such as: "Passing the Fire" Study Abroad Seminar, "Nghe Tinh Talent" Scholarship Fund, "Community English" Project... The IX Fire Passing Ceremony takes place from 7:00 - 10:30 on July 30, 2017 at Muong Thanh - Phuong Dong Hotel, No. 2 Truong Thi Street, Vinh City. |
