Fireworks trafficking ring of father and son in Quynh Luu sea area

At 6:30 p.m. on December 6, Quynh Luu District Police mobilized more than 40 officers and soldiers to focus on investigating a major case offirecracker, arrested 3 subjects, including: Bui Thi Quynh (born in 1991); Bui Thi Thanh (born in 1977), both residing in Duc Xuan village, Tien Thuy commune and Bui Ngoc Trien (born in 1950), residing in Minh Son hamlet, Tien Thuy commune for the act of trading and transporting prohibited goods, confiscating 104 kg of various types of firecrackers. Of the 3 subjects above, Bui Ngoc Trien is the biological father of Bui Thi Thanh.

Previously, in mid-November 2020, Dao Thi Huong (born in 1975), residing in Thanh Cong village, Quynh Long commune - an important link in the case, was urgently arrested by Quynh Luu district police, confiscated 155 kg of firecrackers. During the investigation and discovery process, the task force encountered many difficulties. The subjects often changed the location of the firecrackers, the buying and selling of firecrackers often took place between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

The total amount of fireworks seized in the above case is 259 kg. Currently, the District Police are continuing to expand and consolidate the prosecution file according to the provisions of law.
