The younger sister of the 'Two Orphaned Brothers' in Nam Dan passed away due to serious illness.

According to information from Hoang Viet Nam's family, in the last days of 2020, Nam took his younger sister Hoang Thi Huyen Trang (born in 2013) from the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion back to her hometown, then continued to take her to Hanoi. On the night of January 1, 2021, following the doctor's advice, Nam took his younger sister back to her hometown to recuperate.

Nam shared on his personal page: “I have tried so hard for you, but perhaps this is the little time left for you to be with me. Until now, I can only pray to God.BuddhaPlease protect me, everyone, please chant Buddha's name so that I can rest in peace and not be in pain. I love you." On the morning of January 4, Nam's sister passed away, leaving Nam, his relatives, and friends in deep sorrow.

It is known that Nam was born in Dak Lak, when he was 2 years old, his parents separated. Mrs. Hoang Thi Huong - Nam's mother was heartbroken and took her child back to the countryside to live, her maternal family built a hut in the garden for her and her child to have a place to live. Later, Mrs. Huong gave birth to another child so that Nam "had a brother and a sister". Every day, the mother and son worked hard to support each other. Mrs. Huong did all kinds of hard work to earn money to send her child to school.

It was thought that the life of Nam and his three children would pass peacefully, but unexpectedly, disasters kept coming. In September 2017, Mrs. Huong passed away from brain cancer. In the small house, only the two brothers remained.orphanedIn 2018, after the first anniversary of Mrs. Huong's death, Nam's younger sister was taken in by SOS Children's Village Vinh to be cared for.

After finishing high school, Nam made a living by doing many jobs such as construction worker, mechanic... He worked hard and lived alone in a charity house.

In August 2020, Nam's younger sister was diagnosed with leukemia. Over the past 4 months, with the help of the youth village, relatives, friends and kind-hearted people across the country, Huyen Trang was taken by her brother to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (Hanoi) for treatment. Nam also devoted all his love and made efforts to save his sister's life, but unfortunately, the terrible cancer once again took away Nam's most beloved person.

Mr. Hoang Nghia Lan - head of Trung Chinh hamlet, Trung Phuc Cuong commune said: "Nam's family has the most special situation in the area. His mother just passed away from brain cancer, and now his younger sister has passed away from leukemia. Now Nam is the only one left."
