Man transports 8 heroin cakes hidden in rice bags
After 10 days of monitoring, the task force discovered a suspect transporting a bag of rice with suspicious signs. They checked and seized 8 heroin cakes.
At 9:00 a.m. on August 3, Moc Chau District Police coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Department (PC47) of Son La Provincial Police and Van Ho District Police to arrest Vang A Do (36 years old, permanent residence in Na Kien village, Dong Sang commune, Moc Chau district) while he was transporting a large quantity of heroin.

After 10 days of monitoring, discovering a suspect transporting a bag of suspicious rice, the task force deployed a plan to surround and arrest the suspect in Vuon Dao sub-area, Nong Truong town, Moc Chau district.
During the arrest, despite fierce resistance, the authorities successfully arrested the suspect and seized 8 heroin cakes.
At the police station, Vang A Do confessed that he had bought the heroin from two unidentified men across the border. While transporting it to sell for profit, he was discovered and arrested by the authorities.
The case is currently under investigation.
