Now the rain has decreased, the weather is sunny, the water in the streams has begun to recede, Tuong Duong district mobilized forces to help people overcome the consequences of the flood.

According to a quick report provided by the Department of Agriculture and Development of Tuong Duong district, as of 5:00 p.m. on September 23, the entire district had 96 houses affected by storms and rain, of which 6 houses were severely damaged (mainly due to landslides causing rocks and soil to enter the houses).:Xa Luong commune has 2 houses; Yen Hoa commune has 1 house; Thach Giam town: 1 house; Yen Thang commune: 1 house; Yen Tinh commune: 1 house. Tam Quang commune: The People's Committee of the commune has evacuated 36 households (including Tan Huong village 8 households; Tung Huong village 28 households) at high risk of landslides.

Damage to agriculture, forestry and salt production: 13,386 hectares of rice fields were flooded and collapsed; 7,885 hectares of corn, cassava, bananas, sugarcane and vegetables were swept away and buried.

Regarding traffic, many roads were eroded or flooded, specifically: the route from Tam Thai commune and Tam Hop commune was flooded with many overflow bridges, completely isolating Tam Hop commune; The route from Trung Thang village, Yen Thang commune to Xop Coc village and Tat village has 2 overflow bridges, one at the beginning of Xop Coc village, one at the end of Tat village. Every time it rains, the water in Chon stream rises very quickly, causing the 2 villages in this area to be isolated, all trading activities of the people are completely cut off. It is known that Xop Coc village and Tat village, Yen Thang commune have about 200 households with about 800 people and many roads have landslides causing traffic jams...

In addition, the water pipe systems of some villages were also seriously damaged.
