(Baonghean.vn) - On the second working day of the 8th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021, voters and people in the province continued to send many thoughts, wishes and proposals to the session.

Accordingly, nearly 40 voters sent petitions and proposals to the meeting through the hotline number reflecting issues related to land, construction, education, health care, and policies.
Regarding policies, voter Nguyen Thanh Vinh (Hoi Son commune, Anh Son district) reported that the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs together with the Social Insurance agency cut the pension of Mr. Nguyen Van Vo (voter Vinh's father) against regulations.
Voter Nguyen Van Huyen (Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) reported that he worked as a commune police officer for 15 years, but has now retired but has not received any benefits.
Regarding the policy for people with meritorious services, voter Nguyen Van Son (Giang Son Dong commune, Do Luong district) reported that there were cases where the documents were invalid but they were still enjoying the policy. Therefore, all levels and sectors continue to direct the review of the beneficiaries of the policy for war invalids and Agent Orange victims to ensure accuracy.
Voter Tran Xuan Sy (Dien Lien commune, Dien Chau district) reported that he had participated in the frontline labor force but had not yet received any benefits.

The land issue was also reflected and mentioned by many voters, including 9 opinions. Voters Vu Cat and Vu Huu Minh (Nghi Thiet commune, Nghi Loc district) complained that the Nghi Loc district People's Committee forcibly confiscated their family's land but did not carry out compensation and resettlement according to regulations.
Voter Nguyen Cong Linh (Dung town, Thanh Chuong district) reported that the town People's Committee announced the collection of land use fees from households that were not in accordance with regulations. And voter Nguyen Van Dinh (Tru Son commune, Do Luong district) petitioned about his family buying land from Tru Son commune People's Committee for sale in 1994, but has not yet been granted a land use right certificate.
Voter Nguyen Thi Hoai Sam (Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City) reported that the People's Committee of Hung Binh Ward and Vinh City have not yet organized enforcement and site clearance for the land plot violating planning under the project invested by Phuoc Tai Company.

In the field of traffic and construction, 14 voters expressed their opinions. Voter Ha Van Khanh (Nghia Lac commune, Nghia Dan district) reported that the road from Nghia Loi intersection to Nghia Lac had been approved but had not been constructed, causing difficulties for people in traveling.
Voter Le Van Long (Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City) reported that the Provincial People's Committee allowed the construction of many apartment buildings in the inner city area and some roads, leading to a high population growth, causing traffic congestion, and the technical and social infrastructure could not meet the demand. Along with that, there were urban area projects that were adjusted many times, some areas for green trees and social infrastructure were converted to subdivide and sell land, and build apartments.

Voter Le Quang Lan (Golden City 10 urban area, Quan Bau ward, Vinh city) reported that the investor of Golden City 10 urban area and some other urban area projects in the ward did not hand over the power system to the Electricity Company, so people had to buy electricity at the business electricity price.
In addition to the above issues, some voters also expressed concern about some issues related to school revenue and expenditure; suggested not to arrange medical teams for villages and village team leaders; research to have appropriate policies for merging communes and hamlets; environmental pollution in some places and fields.
Based on the synthesis of voters' opinions, suggestions and reflections sent to the session via the hotline, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien affirmed that after the session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will classify and send them to competent authorities for resolution and respond to voters.
