(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 28, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union held a conference to summarize union activities in 2016 and deploy tasks for 2017.

In 2016, although key personnel in some grassroots unions changed due to staff rotation, union activities in the units were still vibrant with many meaningful activities. In particular, the most prominent activities were participation in management, administrative reform, implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, care and protection of the legitimate interests of union members, civil servants and employees. In addition, grassroots unions actively implemented activities to visit and give gifts with the total amount of money mobilized by the units being more than 40 billion VND.

In addition, emulation movements are organized regularly and with quality such as the emulation movement of creative labor to promote experience and initiatives, emulation movement to study and improve qualifications. There are 1,601 union members achieving emulation fighters at the grassroots level, 3,314 achieving advanced workers. 61 grassroots unions have registered to strive to achieve strong grassroots unions.
