Nearly 600 books donated to Quang Thanh Primary School (Yen Thanh)

In response to Vietnam Book Day 2019, the Department of Information and Communications in coordination with Nghe An Publishing House donated nearly 600 story books to Quang Thanh Primary School, Quang Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District.

Quang Thanh Primary School, Quang Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District currently has 691 students studying in 20 classes. For many years, the school's facilities for teaching and learning have been lacking, including a library for teachers and students to read.

Understanding the above difficulties, on April 12, the Department of Information and Communications and Nghe An Publishing House led by Mr. Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications visited and presented nearly 600 books including: children's story books, books about historical figures, knowledge discovery, life skills, stories about Uncle Ho... In addition, nearly 250 notebooks and school supplies were also presented to the school's students.

During the talk with the students, comrade Nguyen Ba Hao emphasized the importance of reading and encouraged the building of a reading movement in schools to improve knowledge, cultivate skills, thinking, and train personality for each student.
