Nearly 70 million VND to support the family of the child who died from lime burns

On the morning of February 28, Bui Nhat Linh, born in 2015, followed his mother to the salt fields and unfortunately fell into a lime pit, causing severe burns to 86% of his body and had to be treated at the National Burn Hospital. Despite the dedicated treatment of doctors and nurses, Linh died due to severe burns on the evening of March 6, 2018.

While Linh was being treated for her burns at the hospital, Quynh Luu District Youth Union mobilized and called on philanthropists, units and 70 local youth union organizations to donate, support and help the family with part of the treatment costs.

After more than 1 week of launching, the District Youth Union has collected 68.5 million VND from units, youth organizations, and benefactors.

On the afternoon of March 8, the District Youth Union, along with a number of units and philanthropists, visited the child's family to burn incense, offer condolences and give all the donated money to the victim's family./.
