Nearly 7,000 poultry of unknown origin traveled on North-South passenger buses
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 12, the Environmental Police Team of Vinh City Police discovered and arrested a passenger car carrying a large amount of poultry of unknown origin.

While on patrol duty on Ngo Duc Ke Street - Vinh City, the working group of the Environmental Police Team of Vinh City Police discovered a passenger car with license plate 74B-00604 driven by Mr. Phan Khanh Phat, residing in Dong Ha City, Quang Tri, traveling from North to South with suspicious signs.

The task force asked Mr. Phat to stop the vehicle. During the inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle contained 86 cardboard boxes containing 6,880 chicks and ducklings. At the time of inspection, the vehicle owner could not present documents proving the origin and animal quarantine certificates of the aforementioned poultry.
The Vinh City Police Environmental Police Team has made a record of temporary detention and handed over the above poultry to the Vinh City Veterinary Station for handling according to the provisions of law.
