Researching in the area in front of Vinh Station gate, Vinh market, along Nguyen Sy Sach street, Le Viet Thuat street..., where there are many agents and points specializing in selling Phuc Trach grapefruit, it is known that before storm No. 10, Phuc Trach grapefruit had an average price of 40 thousand VND/fruit; after the storm, the average price increased to 60 - 70 thousand VND/fruit.

Ms. Tuyet, who sells grapefruit at the Ga market area, said that currently, in addition to the high average price due to the fact that after the storm, grapefruit in Huong Khe area fell a lot, the smallest fruit also costs 20 thousand VND, compared to less than 10 thousand VND/fruit before. Pre-peeled grapefruit will be cheaper than grapefruit with peel, because usually the fallen fruit has an unattractive appearance, is rough, and if left with the peel, it will not be sold at a good price.

Although the price is quite expensive compared to before the storm, customers still buy Phuc Trach grapefruit in large numbers. Ms. Hoa, a customer, said: Although the price is more expensive than usual, compared to other fruits, grapefruit is still a safe gift that people trust. Customers think that grapefruit has a thick skin, so if it is sprayed with pesticides, it is not a concern. Not to mention, grapefruit is also a fruit that is good for the digestive system, both adults and children like to eat it.

Phuc Trach grapefruit is widely grown in Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province, concentrated in the communes of Phuc Trach, Huong Trach, Huong Do, Loc Yen... with a total area of ​​1,800 hectares and is currently in harvest time. However, according to statistics from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Huong Khe district, the recent storm No. 10 caused 400 hectares of fruit to fall, with an estimated loss of over 170 billion VND.
