The pitiful situation of a blind couple whose house burned down and left them homeless

It is known that at around 10am on November 14, the 3-room tiled house of Mr. Nguyen Van Loi's family in Hamlet 1, Nam Anh Commune suddenly caught fire. When the fire was high, the neighbors discovered the incident.

Despite the enthusiastic efforts of local people to save the house, the fire burned down Mr. Loi's family house.

Despite the enthusiastic rescue efforts of neighbors, the fire had completely destroyed the three-room tiled house and all the property inside. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ly (69 years old), Mr. Loi’s wife, was seriously injured and was taken to the provincial hospital for emergency treatment.

According to local residents, the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit. When the fire broke out, Mr. Loi was working in the field, only Mrs. Ly, who was blind and bedridden, was in the house. Luckily, neighbors came to the rescue in time.

All the property in the house was burned down.

Faced with the pitiful situation of Mr. Nguyen Van Loi's family, with the spirit of "love others as you love yourself", "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", the youth of Nam Anh commune launched a donation movement, calling on union members, youth, people in the commune, children working far from home, and benefactors to join hands to help Mr. Nguyen Van Loi's family overcome difficulties and hardships.
