The tragic family situation of a young man from Nghe An who died in an accident in Macao
(Baonghean.vn) - These days, the atmosphere of mourning has enveloped the house of Mr. Tran Van Lai and Mrs. Le Thi Ha in Hamlet 1, Bai Son Commune (Do Luong), making everyone feel sorry. Their son just died in a traffic accident in Macao. The sadness is extreme, because up to now, both of their sons have passed away.
The tragic accident happened on January 5, 2020, when the car delivering goods to a customer suddenly died on the road. Tran Van Hoang - born in 1999, a worker sitting in the car, got out to push the car to avoid the road, then was hit by another car. The strong crash killed Tran Van Hoang. As of January 9, Tran Van Hoang's body has not been transferred to Vietnam.

Having lost their son, the house of Mr. Tran Van Lai and Mrs. Le Thi Ha was enveloped in an atmosphere of mourning. Both husband and wife have been bedridden for the past few days.
Mr. Tran Van Thai, Mr. Tran Van Lai's brother, said that Mr. Lai and Mrs. Ha were both farmers and lived in very difficult circumstances. In 1995, they gave birth to their first son, Tran Van Dung. At the age of 3, Tran Van Dung suddenly developed congestion on his face and head, and his eyes bulged out.
After going to the doctor, they found out that their child had leukemia. For 3 years, Mr. Tran Van Lai and Mrs. Le Thi Ha took their child to many hospitals from local to central level for treatment. However, due to the terrible disease, the child passed away at the age of 6.

In 1999, the second son was born, Tran Van Hoang. Growing up, Hoang always studied hard. After finishing grade 12, Hoang's wish to enter university had to be put aside because Hoang wanted to go abroad to work to earn money to help his parents. Thanks to loans from banks, friends, and relatives, in February 2019, Hoang went to work in Macao as a worker in a laundry company. On January 5, 2020, Hoang died after being hit by a car.
Both sons have passed away, the pain piled on top of the pain that weighed heavily on Mr. Tran Van Lai and Mrs. Le Thi Ha. The procedure to bring the son's body back home was not simple. Then, where would they get the money to pay off the debt for their son's overseas labor export? Mr. Tran Van Lai himself suffered from cerebral circulatory problems, high blood pressure, and congenital heart disease. Mrs. Le Thi Ha was often sick and unable to work.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung, a neighbor, could not hold back her tears and said: "These past few days, when we heard the news of Hoang's death, we all felt sorry and came to encourage the family. We hope that he will soon be brought back to his homeland."
