Pig price today, September 25, 2024: Maintains a slight increase of 1,000 VND/kg in all three regions, fluctuating between 63,000 - 71,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the North

The price of live pigs in the North increased slightly today, with an increase of 1,000 VND/kg. The current trading price ranges from 68,000 to 71,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Yen Bai and Ninh Binh, the price of live pigs has increased to 69,000 VND/kg, equivalent to the price in Ha Nam.

Meanwhile, traders in other provinces still kept their buying prices the same as before. Only Lao Cai and Nam Dinh are the two northern provinces with lower prices, at 68,000 VND/kg.

The purchase price of live pigs in other localities in the North is currently between 69,000 and 71,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in Central Highlands region

In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the price of live pigs has increased by VND1,000/kg. Specifically, in Quang Tri and Ninh Thuan, the price is currently VND65,000/kg, and in Dak Lak, it is VND66,000/kg.

According to a survey, the current price of live pigs ranges from 64,000 to 69,000 VND per kilogram.

Today, other provinces do not change prices and keep the same transaction price as before.

Pig price in the Southern region

Pig prices in the South increased slightly today, ranging from 63,000 to 67,000 VND/kg.

In Bac Lieu, Hau Giang and Ho Chi Minh City, the price of live pigs is 64,000, 65,000 and 66,000 VND/kg respectively, an increase of 1,000 VND compared to before.

Kien Giang has the lowest price in the country, at 63,000 VND/kg. Other provinces and cities have no change in price.

Nationwide, live pig prices range from 63,000 to 71,000 VND/kg, with the North having the highest price.

On September 24, a training course on sow farming techniques was held in Can Nong commune, Ha Quang district for 61 poor and near-poor households.

Participating households learned how to care for and prevent diseases in pigs, as well as how to build barns and apply reproductive techniques.

They are also instructed in techniques such as breeding and disinfection of barns, along with how to mix feed with biological products.

The Agricultural Service Center has supported 61 Mong Cai breeding pigs, with a total cost of more than 200 million VND, for households so that they can start their pig raising projects.
