Pepper gardens in Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Dong Nai show that the quantity of pepper is uneven, some places have a lot but some places have a little. Compared to last year, this year's pepper is still young and not fully developed.

The world market still has high demand for pepper, especially from familiar markets. Pepper demand from China varies depending on prices, and may decrease when pepper prices increase.

With current pepper prices and favorable market conditions, Vietnam's pepper exports are likely to surpass US$1 billion, marking a strong comeback after six years.

Growers and businesses need to pay attention to the impact of weather such as drought and storms on pepper output and quality. Trade policies and tariffs of importing countries also affect pepper prices and consumption.

Demand for pepper from China has increased sharply since the beginning of the month, with large orders of 3,000 - 4,000 tonnes, to compensate for the shortage of raw materials due to an expected decrease in global output in the coming years.

The Middle East market also showed high demand for large orders, after selling out cheap imported inventories since the beginning of the year.
