Rescuing a drug addict who was about to jump from the 3rd floor
After nearly an hour of persuasion and trying to approach, the police brought the stoned subject from the 3rd floor to the ground safely.
According to information about the incident, at around 9:00 a.m. on September 28, the Fire Police Department of District 8 received information that a subject showing signs of being high on crystal meth was hanging on the 3rd floor of house number 2900A, Pham The Hien, Ward 7, District 8, so they sent a ladder truck and 14 officers to the scene.
At this time, the subject was wearing long pants and was shirtless, shouting and cursing, causing many curious people to stop their vehicles to watch.

In addition to using loudspeakers to persuade the subject to come down, a task force approached the subject on the rooftop, then encouraged, mobilized, and negotiated with him. Below, the fire police team deployed air mattresses and rescue tarpaulins to prevent unfortunate situations from occurring.

After more than 1 hour of calming the subject, the Fire Police Department of District 8 brought the subject safely to the ground and handed him over to the Police of Ward 7, District 8.
Here, the subject gave his name as Tran Vu Dinh Khai (33 years old). Khai is a drug addict who was sent to a rehabilitation center and had just returned to his hometown for one day.
At the police station, Khai was still high on crystal meth.
