Provincial Police Director joins in the Great Solidarity Festival with Ky Son border residents

(Baonghean.vn) - Talking to the people of Huoi Khe village, Muong Ai commune, Major General Vo Trong Hai hopes that cadres and people will continue to maintain national solidarity, thereby preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, national identity, pushing back backward customs; building many typical economic models, on that basis developing and replicating, creating emulation movements, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction.

On the morning of November 10, Major General Vo Trong Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, celebrated the 90th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's tradition (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2020). Huoi Khe village, Muong Ai commune is a border village adjacent to Sam Che village, Muong Moc district, Xieng Khouang province (Lao PDR), 5 km from the commune center, 42 km from Muong Xen town. The village has 3 clans living there (including: Xong clan, Lau clan, Va clan), of which 100% are Mong ethnic group, with a total of 74 households and 473 people.

Over the past year, with the attention of Party committees and authorities at all levels, close propaganda and mobilization work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and commune organizations, and the efforts of the people themselves, 31 households have escaped poverty.

Accordingly, many economic development farming and breeding models have been replicated, such as raising black chickens, fattening cows, growing ginger, taro, etc. Many households have developed fattening buffalo and cow breeding farms that bring in high incomes, such as Mr. Xong Chong Tua, Mr. Xong No Cho, Xong Ra Hua, and Xong Va Po.

Along with economic development, people's spiritual life has been improved, cultural, artistic, physical education and sports movements have been maintained regularly. Political security and social order and safety have been stable, social evils have been pushed back, and backward customs in funerals and weddings have been eliminated.

The propaganda and mobilization work for children to go to school is taken care of, there are no illiterates. Poor students are supported, good students are encouraged. Children are protected, cared for and fully vaccinated, the number of people having a third child or more has decreased.

Attending the festival and talking to the people of Huoi Khe village, Major General Vo Trong Hai expressed his joy and praised the efforts and struggles of the cadres, party members and all the people in the village. It is the joint efforts and unanimity that have created strength, helping the policies and movements of the Central, the province and the district to be implemented and achieve good results.

He expressed his hope that the cadres and people of Huoi Khe village will continue to have many specific solutions to effectively implement the Campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life", preserve and promote traditional cultural values, national identity, push back backward customs; build many typical economic models, on that basis develop and replicate, create emulation movements, contribute to hunger eradication and poverty reduction; actively participate in the fight, denounce crimes, maintain security and order in the area.

On this occasion, the CommitteeProvincial Fatherland Frontpresented 1 Great Solidarity House, 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to the people, 5 million VND to the Huoi Khe residential area; Provincial Police presented 74 million VND to 74 households, 5 units in the area, each unit 10 million VND; Ky Son District presented 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to the people, 2 million VND to the Huoi Khe residential area.

On this occasion, some philanthropists in Quy Hop district presented 20 tons of rice and some gifts to policy households and disadvantaged families.
