After many years of merging, Mau Duc Primary School still has two campuses, each more than 5km apart and both located in difficult areas of the district. Entering the new school year, although the number of classes and students has increased, like previous years, the shortage of teachers is still happening and the school needs at least 3 teachers to ensure the minimum ratio.
Although the teaching conditions are extremely difficult, the school does not have the conditions to organizeboardingBut this year, the teachers of the whole school are still determined to teach 32 periods/week, without collecting tuition for 2 sessions/day. For the extra hours... teachers volunteer to teach for free to maintain the good quality of teaching and learning at the school.

Teaching extra hours, adding more classes, and increasing tutoring for students seems to have become normal at school. This is also one of the contents that many teachers in the school have registered to respond to the campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh".
Previously, in the 2023-2024 school year, the school reported that teachers volunteered to teach nearly 500 extra classes, which is not small if multiplied by the amount of money they had to pay. Among them are teachers of specific subjects such as English, Information Technology, Physical Education, Fine Arts... who have to commute between two schools many times a week, which is extremely difficult.
Along with this meaningful work, teachers in the school also register to participate and effectively tutor slow-learning students, buy clothes, books, and school supplies for students in difficult circumstances. In teaching and learning, the school is always at the forefront of innovation with the motto "taking students as the center, the school as the foundation, teachers as the driving force".

Last school year, thanks to the implementation of the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning", Chi Khe Secondary School had a successful school year when the school's key quality ranked 4th out of 11 units, up 5 places and for the first time the school had a student winning second prize at the provincial level in English. In the 10th grade entrance exam, the school ranked 2nd in the district, only after Tra Lan Secondary School (the district's specialized school). In the 2023 - 2024 school year, for the first time the school had 4 students pass the entrance exam to the province's Ethnic Boarding School, a rate of 100%.
The achievements have motivated the school community this school year, although the school still faces many difficulties as it lacks 9 teachers, the largest number of teachers and staff in the district. Currently, the school's facilities are seriously lacking, and teaching equipment has not really met the requirements of the new General Education Program.
To complete the assigned tasks, teacher Le Duy Thuan - Principal of the school said: In addition to professional solutions, we identify innovation in management, teaching and learning as very important and must be done through practical actions. That is, the school always cares about the lives and fully resolves policies for staff.
At the same time, it is necessary to build a friendly, open, trusting, tolerant and generous working environment, creating conditions for everyone to have the opportunity to develop and do well in emulation and reward work. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to students, have a policy of rewarding both in kind and spirit, especially for students with difficult circumstances, from poor and near-poor households.
Focus resources on education
Entering the new school year, many schools in the areaCon Cuong districthas truly been "changed" when at the same time many new schools were invested in, built, repaired and purchased teaching equipment to effectively implement the new General Education Program and maintain and improve the quality of universal education.

In particular, the District People's Committee alone has invested over 20 billion VND to build facilities serving teaching and learning at schools such as Binh Chuan Kindergarten; Thach Ngan Kindergarten; Don Phuc Kindergarten; Town Primary School; Chi Khe Primary School; Luc Da Primary School; Cam Lam Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; Tra Lan Secondary School; Lang Khe Secondary School.
In addition, the district has also done a good job of calling for funding to build schools such as building cafeterias and dormitories at Don Phuc Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Mon Son Primary School 2, and Mon Son Kindergarten.
In the whole district, currently 100% of schools have green, clean, beautiful playgrounds and outdoor toys that are used regularly and safely; 14/14 schools have built friendly libraries. Although it is a mountainous district with many difficulties, the whole district has 33/40 schools that have been recognized as national standard schools, a rate of 82.5%, of which 5 schools have reached national standard level II.

With many efforts, the quality of education in Con Cuong district is increasingly affirmed at all levels. In particular, at preschool level, 100% of children in preschool facilities are ensured physical and mental safety; the rate of children having meals at boarding schools reaches 100%; over 90% of preschool children and 80% of nursery children achieve the educational goals of the Preschool Education Program.
At the primary education level, the district has effectively directed teaching 2 sessions/day with 100% of schools teaching 9 sessions/week, 100% of schools have students learning Information Technology, 100% of schools have conducted educational quality assessment and national standards.
Meanwhile, for secondary education, the district directed the application of many synchronous solutions to improve mass quality; maintain key quality and synchronously implement many solutions to improve the quality of the teaching staff, so the quality of teaching and learning of schools has been significantly improved.
At the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for Grade 9, Con Cuong district ranked first in Group B of the province and ranked 9th out of 21 districts and towns according to average score, more than 80% of students taking the 10th grade entrance exam were admitted to their first choice.
The average score for the 10th grade entrance exam is higher than the previous school year. At the high school level, the district is at the top of the provincial excellent students' group B, the 12th grade graduation rate is 99.85%, the average graduation score has been raised, and many students have passed the entrance exams to the top universities in the country.

In addition to the achieved results, the Con Cuong Education sector also identified many difficulties. Although the quality of comprehensive education has changed, there has not been a breakthrough, it is not uniform among schools and there is a relatively large gap between schools in more favorable areas and disadvantaged areas; the quality of teaching and learning foreign languages and life skills is still limited...
Therefore, entering the new school year, Con Cuong district has set specific goals for each level of education and proposed 4 tasks and solutions with the aim of ensuring comprehensive education quality and continuing to maintain and increase the quality of awards in excellent student competitions.
The 2024-2025 school year is a special year for the Education sector as the entire sector implements the 2018 General Education Program at all levels. To successfully carry out the school year's tasks, we always prioritize focusing resources and capital to increase investment in building school facilities and merging schools to increasingly better meet teaching and learning requirements.
