Teachers and soldiers make Mid-Autumn lanterns for poor children in border areas
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to compensate and share the disadvantages of children in the border area of Nhon Mai commune (Tuong Duong), officers and soldiers of Nhon Mai Border Guard Station and teachers of Nhon Mai Kindergarten joined hands to make Mid-Autumn lanterns to give to the children.

Life is still full of difficulties, to take care of their children with food, clothes and schooling is a great effort of parents in the border commune of Nhon Mai. Therefore, the Mid-Autumn Festival for the children here is something of a luxury. Understanding that situation, every year, near the Mid-Autumn Festival, teachers of the Nhon Mai border commune kindergarten, together with officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Station and the commune's youth union members, make Mid-Autumn lanterns from available materials to give to the kindergarten children.

According to the plan, the school will organize the Mid-Autumn Festival for children at all schools. To raise funds for the organization, the teachers called on charity groups to support moon cakes and balloons; parents contributed locally available fruits; made lanterns by hand; practiced performing arts, etc.
With the cooperation of the school's teachers and the care of agencies and organizations, poor children in this border area will have a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival.
