This progress of land acquisition and clearance is assessed as not achieving the set plan's objectives. The reason is that during the process of implementing compensation and support work, some households have not agreed with the unit price of land, trees, crops, and architectural works; at the same time, there are 28 households that have been producing stably for a long time on the land area of Co Ba Forestry Farm, so it is difficult to prepare compensation and support records for land acquisition and clearance;...
On the other hand, the budget for compensation and support payments is still lacking. Up to now, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Quy Chau district has prepared compensation records for 455/531 affected households and approved compensation, support and resettlement plans for 368 households with a total budget of 100.12 billion VND. However, the total payment amount is only more than 88 billion VND, still lacking nearly 12 billion VND.
