'Breast milk journey across Vietnam' arrives in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 2, Women's Publishing House coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union to organize the program "Breast Milk Journey Across Vietnam 2016".
This is the second time the program has been implemented in Nghe An with the participation of hundreds of breastfeeding mothers.
The cross-Vietnam breast milk journey has a route of 2,149 km taking place in 8 days (August 1-8, 2016), passing through the following provinces and cities: Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City and Long An. |
This is a meaningful program with many diverse activities such as listening to speakers from the Institute for Community Health Development, the International Breastfeeding Institute, and Hanoi Medical University providing advice on knowledge and experience in breastfeeding, connecting mothers to donate and receive milk, breastfeeding in groups, distributing the latest documents from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on breast milk, etc.
