Support all textbooks for students of Yen Tinh Secondary School
(Baonghean.vn) - 248 sets of textbooks and hundreds of notebooks and red scarves were given to support students of Yen Tinh Secondary School, Yen Tinh Commune, Tuong Duong District.
On September 17, a delegation of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union led by comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, came to present gifts to support teachers and students of Yen Tinh Secondary School, Yen Tinh Commune, Tuong Duong District after the damage caused by the recent flood.

The sudden flash flood on the night of September 13 and early morning of September 14 caused great damage to Yen Tinh Secondary School, Yen Tinh Commune, Tuong Duong District. According to statistics, the flood swept away and damaged 120 sets of tables and chairs, 20 sets of desktop computers, 7 laptops, 6 televisions, 5 refrigerators, amplifiers, speakers and especially books, daily necessities of teachers and students were completely wet and damaged.

In order to share difficulties and encourage teachers and students of Yen Tinh Secondary School to overcome difficulties after the flood, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union presented support items worth 20 million VND, Nghe An Economic Development Youth Union presented support items worth 10 million VND and the Youth Union of Universities and Colleges presented support items worth 40 million VND to the school.
The entire amount was used by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and other units to buy 248 sets of textbooks from grades 6 to 9 for students, 1 computer set, 300 red scarves, 1 set of drums, all personal items for boarding students and transported to Yen Tinh Secondary School.

In addition, Le Loi Secondary School, Vinh City sent 300 notebooks, 48 sets of textbooks and 30 bags of teaching materials to teachers of Yen Tinh Secondary School.

On behalf of Nghe An youth, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Dinh Hung encouraged teachers and students of Yen Tinh Secondary School, shared the difficulties, and hoped that the school would soon stabilize its facilities to continue teaching and learning; at the same time, he said that in the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union will continue to mobilize and call on businesses, agencies, units, and philanthropists to support the school, first of all, supporting rice for boarding students.
