Hoang Xuan Vinh is ready to be Vietnam tourism ambassador

Shooter Hoang Xuan Vinh shared that if he was invited to be an ambassador to promote Vietnamese tourism, he would be very willing and consider it an honor.

In an online exchange with an online newspaper on August 17, shooter Hoang Xuan Vinh added: "In the future, I will try my best to promote the image of Vietnam to international friends, introduce a pure, beautiful Vietnam, with friendly people, always willing to welcome international friends."

According to Hoang Xuan Vinh, this is an honor for all Vietnamese athletes as well as for him personally. The success of the shooter at the 2016 Rio Olympics has a great influence on society, especially the youth. "Many young people share that they have the motivation to rise up in life, have more confidence in themselves, that is also what I want to share with you," he said.

During the working session of Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien with the General Department of Tourism on August 17, the Minister also suggested that tourism should have closer coordination with other sectors in the industry such as culture and sports to promote tourism. The Minister commented that the event of shooter Hoang Xuan Vinh winning the gold and silver medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics, breaking the Olympic record was a historic event, not only bringing glory to Vietnamese sports, but also the pride of Vietnamese tourism, contributing to promoting Vietnamese destinations.
