(Baonghean.vn) - On the first day back to school, one of the top priorities of schools is to ensure safety and systematize knowledge for students.

On the morning of November 22, students in grades 9, 10 and 11 in Vinh city officially returned to school after nearly 3 months of studying online. The morning was chilly, the weather changed a lot but many students still came very early to meet their teachers and friends again. Photo: Duc Anh

To ensure safety, schools have established distance between classes. Each class has a logbook to monitor students’ temperature and health status, managed by the class committee. Photo: Duc Anh
Teacher Nguyen Thi Hong Tham - Head teacher of class 9B - Quan Bau Secondary School was happy to meet her students again. The first lesson was also the first time she and her students met. Before the official start of the lesson, she organized and rearranged the students' seats. Photo: Duc Anh
Up to this point, no student in Nghe An has been vaccinated. To ensure disease prevention, many students have also equipped themselves with splash shields. Photo: Duc Anh
Teacher Nguyen Duc Canh - Principal of Quan Bau Secondary School said: Our school only has 4 9th grade classes so the classroom arrangement is quite convenient. For now, we will separate each class into 4 classrooms and put up ropes to require students not to go back and forth between classes. Students strictly follow the regulation "one route, two destinations". Photo: Duc Anh

Due to the complicated developments of the epidemic, the Vinh City Department of Education has only allowed 9th grade students to return to school. Teaching both in person (grade 9) and online (grades 6, 7, 8) will also make it harder for many teachers. Today, teacher Uong Dinh Duong - Literature teacher - Nghi An Secondary School has 4 periods. Of which, 2 are taught directly at school. The remaining two periods, he teaches online for 7th grade students, so he has to be flexible and organize teaching for students right in the school's office. Photo: Duc Anh

There are also quite a few students in the F0, F1, and F2 groups in the city. Therefore, the city plans to organize a separate online class for these groups and will assign teachers from schools to coordinate teaching. This afternoon, 10th graders of high schools in the city will return to school, and they will also be required to comply with epidemic prevention requirements, in order to ensure the best quality of teaching and learning in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic.
