(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 8, Ky Son High School organized a fundraiser to support students whose families suffered heavy losses in life and property due to storms.

During storm No. 4 at the end of August 2018, Moong Y Trong, a 12th grade student in Xop Phong village, Muong Ai commune, Ky Son, had his father and grandfather, Moong Pho Tuat and Moong Pho Uon, killed by the flood, along with all of the family's house and property.

With encouragement from the school and local authorities, overcoming difficulties, Moong Y Trong still goes to school to study with his friends.

To encourage and support Trong's family to ease their pain and difficulties in life, the staff, teachers and students of Ky Son High School have raised 11 million VND to support Trong's family. The school's Board of Directors will deliver this money to Moong Y Trong's home.
