Representatives of the Dong Da District Red Cross Society directly awarded 10 scholarships to 10 poor students who overcame difficulties to study well, each worth 500,000 VND; presented 4 breeding cows, each worth 15 million VND, along with 500,000 VND to support the purchase of feed for raising cows for 4 poor households with especially difficult circumstances in 4 communes of Nam Thai, Nam Nghia, Nam Hung and Nam Linh.
This is a practical gift showing the concern and sharing of difficulties of the Red Cross Society of Dong Da District (Hanoi City) for poor households with especially difficult circumstances, poor students who overcome difficulties to study well in Uncle Ho's homeland, with the hope that poor households and poor students continue to strive to improve their lives./.
