Nghe An Province Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs donated 50 million VND to build a house of gratitude in Quynh Luu
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 22, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province coordinated with Quynh Luu district to organize a ceremony to present gratitude houses to families of martyrs in Quynh Luong commune.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Ho Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province, Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 50 million VND (donated by Giang Son - Quynh Luu Construction Joint Stock Company) to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Nien, mother of martyr Ly Van Tuy, in village 6, Quynh Luong commune.
This is the 515th house of gratitude that the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province has called for and mobilized organizations and units to support. This meaningful activity demonstrates the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of poor households, families of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution; helping families of martyrs have solid houses, reducing difficulties and stabilizing their lives./.
