Nghe An Journalists Association supports nearly 90 million VND for people in flooded areas of Ky Son

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 20, the Vietnam Journalists Association of Nghe An province and benefactors visited Ky Son district to visit and support people affected by the recent flood.

At Hoa Son village (Ta Ca commune), the delegation visited the people and provided support to build a house worth 60 million VND through establishing a savings book for Ms. Lo Thi Nhun's household (born in 1975). This household had its house swept away by flood, her husband recently passed away, and currently owes the bank 200 million VND for a house loan.

Next, the delegation presented nearly 3,000 notebooks to the Ky Son District Education Department to support students. In Chieu Luu Commune, the delegation presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to 10 households affected by floods and whose houses were damaged.

The delegation also presented 2 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to 2 reporters of the Ky Son District Culture - Sports and Communication Center who suffered damage due to the flood. The total value of the support was nearly 90 million VND.

This is the heart of the members of Nghe An Journalists Association, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, Resident Reporters Association in Nghe An; Tri Viet Education Group Joint Stock Company, Nghe An Newspaper Printing Company, Giao Te Hotel, Hoc Mai Education System, Viet Phat Trading Joint Stock Company, Company 473, Ban Ve Hydropower Company sent to the people in the flood areas, contributing to helping people overcome the consequences of floods and stabilize their lives./.
