Mr. Tran Van Hien, Standing Member of the Farmers' Association of Lang Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh), said that in order to support the fastest consumption of ginger, the association went directly to Ky Son district to buy more than 100 kg of ginger to sell on their behalf. After only a few days, the members in the commune had basically sold out.

"This is just the first phase. The association will continue to support ginger consumption for Ky Son farmers, because this ginger product is of good quality and is popular with consumers," Mr. Hien shared.

This time, Tan Ky District Farmers' Association also supported ginger consumption for farmers in Ky Son District. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Chairman of the District Farmers' Association said that in the first phase, the association supported the consumption of 1.3 tons of ginger, delivered to some commune farmers' associations near the district center for consumption. In the future, the District Farmers' Association will continue to call on all levels of farmers' associations in the district to consume ginger for Ky Son.

Mr. Phan Van Manh - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ky Son district said that this year, Ky Son ginger is in the main harvest season but the selling price has dropped sharply to only over 5,000 VND/kg, still not being consumed. In that situation, the Farmers' Association of the district has called on farmers' associations at all levels in the province to support ginger consumption for people. As of March 19 (after nearly 10 days of calling), more than 30 tons of ginger have been consumed with the support of associations at all levels.

"This is only the first phase. Currently, the District Farmers' Association continues to call on all levels of associations to support ginger consumption, because there are still nearly 5,000 tons of ginger roots that have not been consumed. Currently, many levels of farmers' associations have registered the quantity of ginger. In the near future, the District Farmers' Association will arrange vehicles to transport ginger to the place, or they can directly come and transport it back," Mr. Phan Van Manh shared.
