Due to the characteristics of the highland people raising free-range pigs and difficult transportation, determining the number of infected pigs takes a long time.
Thus, by June 8, in the remote Ky Son district, 13 out of 21 communes and towns had recorded African swine fever, including: Muong Tip, Huu Kiem, Bao Thang, Bao Nam, Keng Du, Na Loi, Ta Ca, Nam Can, Pha Danh, Chieu Luu, Muong Ai, Bac Ly and Tay Son.
