Results of testing the quality of clean water used for domestic purposes at water plants
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 24, the Center for Disease Control and the Nghe An Department of Health reported on the results of monitoring the quality of clean water used for domestic purposes at water plants supplying Vinh city and surrounding areas.
The report stated: On April 8, 2023, implementing the official dispatch of the Nghe An Department of Health, the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control conducted monitoring and sampling of clean water used for domestic purposes at Hung Vinh, Hung Nguyen, Cau Bach water plants and households in Vinh city and surrounding areas.
Water samples were taken from Hung Vinh, Hung Nguyen and Cau Bach Water Plants of Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company, which supply clean water to Vinh city and surrounding areas. Of which, Hung Vinh Water Plant (Cua Nam) uses Lam River water as raw water, with a capacity of 40,000m3.3/day and night; Cau Bach Water Plant (Nam Giang Commune - Nam Dan), capacity 20,000 m3/day and night water source is Lam river water; Hung Nguyen water plant (Hung Nguyen town) takes water from Dao river.
The total number of water samples taken is 8, including 3 samples at the 3 above mentioned factories and 5 samples at 5 households in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen town (Hung Nguyen district), Cua Nam ward, Vinh Tan ward, Ha Huy Tap ward (Vinh city).

Of which, 2 clean water samples (one sample at Hung Nguyen Water Plant and one clean water sample at Nguyen Thai Son's household at No. 21, Ngo Duc Ke Street, Quang Trung Block, Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City) were tested for 98 parameters according to Local Standard 01:2021/NA, tested at Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control and sent to the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Testing of the Ministry of Health. The remaining 6 samples were tested according to capacity at Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control with 26 parameters.
Result: 2/2 clean water samples achieved 98/98 parameters meeting QCDP 01:2021/NA (with attached test certificate).These are clean water samples at Hung Nguyen Water Plant, Hung Nguyen town and clean water samples at Nguyen Thai Son's household - house number 21, Ngo Duc Ke street, Quang Trung block, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city.
The results of the remaining 6/6 water samples achieved 26/26 parameters meeting QCDP 01:2021/NA (with attached result sheet).These are clean water samples from Hung Vinh Water Plant, Cua Nam, Vinh City, clean water samples from Cau Bach Water Plant (Nam Giang - Nam Dan), clean water samples from Nguyen Linh Thuc's household, Khoa Da hamlet, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen. Clean water samples from Thai Sy Lam's household, house number 55 Nguyen Sinh Sac, block 13, Cua Nam ward, Vinh City; clean water samples from Hung Silk restaurant, 21 Ha Huy Tap, Vinh City.
The Center for Disease Control of the Nghe An Department of Health recommends that Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company continue to perform well in managing clean water quality, ensuring the quality of clean water used for domestic purposes, publicly disclosing information and reporting water quality fully in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 41/2028/BYT and QCDP 01: 2021/NA.
