Opening of the Traditional Sports Tournament of the Party Committee of the Agencies of Nghe An Province
On the evening of August 19, in Vinh city, the opening ceremony of the Traditional Sports Tournament took place to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Agencies (September 22, 1954 - September 22, 2024).
Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Le Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Pham Tuan Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
This is the 28th time the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc of Nghe An has organized a traditional sports tournament. Since the first organization, the tournament has been continuously expanded and improved in quality, truly a useful activity, attracting the attention and widespread participation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Provincial Agencies Bloc.
The traditional sports tournament of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies is a practical activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies.
At the same time, promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" among cadres and party members of the Provincial Agencies. Through sports activities to strengthen solidarity, create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, together successfully carry out political tasks in agencies and units.
This year's traditional sports tournament gathered 1,230 athletes from 50 units, participating in 3 events: men's soccer, women's volleyball and mixed-race tug of war.
After the opening ceremony, a women's volleyball match took place between the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee.
The tournament takes place from August 15 to August 29, 2024./.
