Opening of the Exhibition 'Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicraft products of Vietnam'
On the afternoon of November 23, at the Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicraft products of Vietnam" took place.
Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of leaders of units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; leaders of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, Cultural Center, Tourism Promotion Center; representatives of Museums from the provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho City, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

The exhibition “Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicrafts of Vietnam” is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the People's Committee of Nghe An province, and related agencies and units, taking place from November 22 to 26 at Ho Tung Mau walking street, Vinh city, Nghe An province.

This is one of the cultural activities to welcomeVietnam Cultural Heritage Day(November 23), aiming to introduce, promote and honor the cultural and natural heritages, historical relics, landscapes and unique tourism products of the country and people of Vietnam; affirm the potential for cultural and tourism development among localities nationwide, create a strong driving force to attract resources for tourism development, and enhance the image of the country and people of Vietnam.


The exhibition held in Nghe An province on this occasion is alsoActivities to celebrate 10 years of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs being recognized by UNESCOis a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity (November 27, 2014 - November 27, 2024).

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Organizing Committee awarded souvenir logos to 35 units that made outstanding contributions to the Exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicraft products"; awarded 5 First prizes, 11 Second prizes, 15 Third prizes and 30 Encouragement prizes for products participating in the "Vietnam Handicraft Products" Contest in 2024 - one of the activities at the exhibition.
