Opening of professor clinic and consultation with experts

Vinh General Hospital is a pioneer in applying soft solutions in implementing the program "Online expert consultation". With this program, patients and their families can directly participate in the consultation, especially the system can transmit online images of tests, diagnostic imaging, functional examination... taken directly from the hospital's HIS, LIS, PACS, and electronic medical records to experts.

Within the framework of the program, the hospital's doctors directly consulted with Prof. Dr. Pham Gia Khai - Former Director of the National Heart Institute (at the Hanoi bridge point) about two patients being treated at the Cardiology Department of Vinh General Hospital.

Putting the professor's clinic and the online expert consultation program into operation is one of the solutions of Vinh General Hospital in implementing the policy of improving the capacity and quality of medical examination and treatment for grassroots health care, limiting overload for upper-level hospitals.

Carrying out the mission of taking care of people's health, in recent times, Vinh City General Hospital has proactively invested in synchronous facilities and effectively applied IT in all activities to improve the quality of medical services, innovate medical examination and treatment processes; and improve administrative procedures to create maximum convenience for patients.
