In Tan Xuan commune, more than 100 elderly people were examined by doctors, consulted about prevention, treatment and free medicine for eye diseases. Thereby, 12 people were assigned to cataract surgery, 15 people were assigned to surgery for other eye diseases.
The program of free medical examination, treatment and medicine is a practical activity to help the elderly promptly detect and treat eye diseases, thereby contributing to the care and protection of the elderly's health. This program will be implemented at all health stations in the district.
